*Bonus Podcast Episode Announcement: Becoming Her…Again|Finding Self-Worth Again After Divorce : LISTEN NOW
If you’re reading this today, I just want to sit with you for a minute. Not to give you a perfect answer or a quick fix… but to remind you that you’re not alone in what you’re carrying.
Because divorce doesn’t just change your relationship status. It changes the way you see yourself.
Sometimes the hardest part isn’t even the paperwork, or the logistics, or learning how to be alone again. Sometimes the hardest part is the quiet moment when you realize your confidence didn’t just take a hit… it feels like it shifted.

You start questioning things you never questioned before. You start wondering if you were too much… or not enough. You start replaying conversations, choices, red flags, the day everything changed, the moment you knew. And even if you’ve done a lot of healing after divorce, even if you’ve come a long way… there can still be this lingering feeling you can’t quite name. Like something inside you is still waiting for proof that you’re worthy again.
I need you to hear me clearly: you don’t have to earn your worth back. You didn’t lose it.
Divorce can make you feel rejected, replaced, discarded, overlooked, or unwanted. It can make you feel like your value was something that could be taken away. Like you were only lovable when you were performing, fixing, forgiving, holding everything together, or staying quiet.
But your worth was never supposed to be based on someone else’s ability to love you well. I know that sounds like a pretty sentence… but living it is different. Living it is waking up and feeling that ache in your chest when you remember what you tolerated. Living it is catching yourself shrinking in conversations. Living it is feeling strong one day and strangely fragile the next. Living it is smiling in public and then crying in your car because you don’t know who you are anymore.
I remember seasons where I felt like I was walking through quicksand, trying so hard to move forward, but constantly sinking back into the same thoughts. I didn’t always recognize myself. I didn’t always trust myself. And if I’m being honest, I didn’t always like myself either… because I kept thinking, “How did I let this happen?”
That’s what divorce can do.
It can make a capable woman feel like she can’t even trust her own judgment anymore. If you’re in that place right now—if you’re still in the early stages of surviving divorce, just trying to get through the day without falling apart—please hear me when I say this: you’re not crazy, you’re not weak, and you’re not failing.
You’re healing.
And healing isn’t always pretty. It’s not always linear. Sometimes healing looks like progress, and sometimes it looks like grief showing up again when you thought you were past it. Sometimes healing looks like confidence… and sometimes it looks like tears in the middle of a random Tuesday.
But I want to tell you something I wish I had known earlier: you don’t rebuild self-worth by proving yourself to the world. You rebuild self-worth by coming back home to yourself.
Little by little. One choice at a time. One new thought at a time. One brave step at a time.
You rebuild it by learning how to speak to yourself with kindness again. You rebuild it by noticing the moments you’re being hard on yourself and choosing a softer, truer voice. You rebuild it by letting your pain be real, but not letting it become the story you tell yourself about who you are. And.. yes… you rebuild it with faith. Because even when people are careless, God is steady. Even when someone walks away, God does not. Even when you feel forgotten, you are still seen.
And maybe that’s the part I want you to hold onto today.
If divorce has left you feeling like you’re starting over, I want you to know you’re not behind. You’re not too old. You’re not too broken. You’re not “late” to healing.
You are in a rebuilding season.
And rebuilding doesn’t mean you failed. It means you survived. It means you’re still here. It means you still have a future. And friend… it means you still have so much beauty ahead of you.
That’s why I recorded a bonus podcast episode for you.
It’s called, “Finding Self-Worth Again After Divorce.”
Not the fake kind of confidence where you slap on a smile and pretend you’re fine… but the real kind. The kind that feels steady. The kind that doesn’t disappear when someone else disapproves of you. The kind that stays rooted when life gets messy.
In this bonus episode, I’m going to talk honestly about how divorce can distort the way you see yourself, why self-blame keeps you stuck, and how to start rebuilding your confidence in a way that’s gentle, grounded, and actually doable. And if you’ve been looking for divorce help that feels supportive instead of overwhelming—this episode is for you.
I’m also going to share a simple practice you can take with you—because I never want you to leave my space feeling inspired but still unsure what to do next.
If you’ve been struggling with that quiet question—“Am I still worthy?”—I want you to listen. And.. if you know a woman who looks like she’s holding it together, but you can tell she’s hurting underneath… send this to her too.
You don’t have to earn your worth back. You just have to remember it.
I’ll meet you in the bonus episode. Now available on Spotify, Apple or iHeart.
